We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Develop and implement effective care plans to meet patients' needs and promote optimal health outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Current Level C CPR certification
- Two years recent medical/surgical experience, or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
- A competitive salary range of $41.42-$55.91 per hour
