We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in Gerontology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our elderly residents, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of resident-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and experiences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
- Post-basic education in gerontology an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
