Medical Director Health Services Lead

Vet et Nous is a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, both generalists and specialists, dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients' pets. Our team is split into three emergency and reference centers open 24/7, as well as several general practice hospitals and clinics across the greater Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, and Quebec region.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the onboarding and integration of new veterinarians into the team, ensuring they receive adequate training and support.
- Plan and conduct performance appraisals of team members during their probationary period and for periodic evaluations.
- Manage day-to-day operations with team members, including supervision on the floor and addressing client complaints.
- Train and motivate key players in the team to ensure proper succession management and adherence to best medical practices.
- Collaborate with veterinarians to address medical-related complaints from clients and identify training needs.
- Work with the regional medical director to plan training activities and stay informed about new technologies.
- Veterinary doctor with 5 years of experience in a general practice hospital setting.
- Proficiency in French written and spoken.
- Good stress management skills and ability to manage priorities efficiently.
