Job Title: Dental Clinical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Clinical Assistant to join our team at SA Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
  • Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient dental practice.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
  • Maintain and order supplies to prevent stockouts and ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and provide them with the knowledge they need to maintain good oral health.
  • Perform intra-oral duties as required, including preparing patients for dental procedures.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities is required for this position.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Flexibility is required to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Client focus is essential to provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
Work Environment:
