Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer - API to join our team at Maarut Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing API solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document the impact of business requirements on existing systems
  • Identify and finalize technical scope items for each phase
  • Provide technical expertise to the documentation of enhancement requests
  • Design and implement API solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts and vendors to document system integration requirements
  • Design and implement test plans and test scenarios

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Extensive experience with web-based transactional systems and standards-based web service technologies in an n-tier Java EE server environment
  • In-depth experience with third-party API/web service testing tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman
  • In-depth experience working with IBM API Connect gateway platform and PKI standards-based certificates

Desirable Skills

  • Good understanding of systems environments, business analysis, and change management
  • Ability to document technical artefacts clearly and perform knowledge transfer effectively
  • Proven ability to prioritize and parallelize assigned tasks to achieve milestones within tight deadlines

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive experience with web-based transactional systems and standards-based web service technologies in an n-tier Java EE server environment
  • In-depth experience with third-party API/web service testing tools such as ReadyAPI, SoapUI, and Postman

Security Requirements

  • Experience using HP ALM/JIRA and CI/CD tools and processes such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Ant, and related tools
