SaskEnergy is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of Manager of Health & Safety. This position is responsible for leading and managing the organization's health and safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Position Overview
- Permanent full-time non-union role
Core Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee Safety Management Programs to fulfill regulatory obligations
- Provide support to teams for the effective implementation of health and safety services
- Deliver expert guidance on incident investigations and substance abuse program management
- Consult on health and safety strategies, policies, and initiatives
- Investigate and suggest industry health and safety advancements
- Manage the annual Safety Stand Up Program
- Serve as the primary contact for health and safety teams
- Coordinate both internal and external safety audits
- Develop and oversee the departmental budget
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Health Science, or Social Science
- Certification as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional or equivalent
- A minimum of six years of experience in safety and health roles within the petroleum sector
- Relevant education and experience will also be taken into account

- Some travel may be necessary
