Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent cooking skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership skills.
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work well under pressure. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
