Job Title: Welder

GOLDWOOD INDUSTRIES LTD is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including arc-air cutting equipment
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and ensure proper fabrication and repair of metal parts and products
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
