Sphere Media is seeking a highly skilled Treasury and Special Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our treasury and cash flow planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design and update consolidated weekly cash position reports for Group companies.
  • Coordinate all Group entities' cash requirements by producing weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flow projections.
  • Propose and implement tools to optimise the management of Group entities' funds.
  • Manage foreign currency requirements and coordinate the necessary transactions.
  • Manage bank accounts and corporate credit card requirements (opening, closing, transfer requests, etc.).
Special Projects Component
  • Manage the distribution advance investment portfolio.
  • Carry out financial and operational analysis of special projects.
  • Lead and coordinate the needs of the financial and accounting systems implementation teams with internal resources.
  • Carry out implementation tests and appropriate follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Be the expert regarding the acquisition projects to the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting (financial and operational).
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or specific experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis software.
  • Strong interest in working in a dynamic, creative and growing environment.
  • Ability to act at both analytical and operational levels.
  • Versatility.
  • Knowledge of the television and film production industry - an asset.

This position requires fluency in French and a good understanding of English, both written and spoken, due to contacts with customers, colleagues and partners outside Quebec.
