Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury and Special Projects Manager to join our team at Sphere Media. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our treasury and cash flow planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treasury Management:
    • Develop and maintain consolidated weekly cash position reports for our Group companies.
    • Coordinate cash requirements across all Group entities by producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flow projections.
    • Implement tools to optimize the management of Group entities' funds.
    • Manage foreign currency requirements and coordinate necessary transactions.
    • Manage bank accounts and corporate credit card requirements.
  • Special Projects:
    • Manage the distribution advance investment portfolio.
    • Conduct financial and operational analysis of special projects.
    • Lead and coordinate the needs of the financial and accounting systems implementation teams.
    • Carry out implementation tests and follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Provide expert advice on acquisition projects to our Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis software.
  • Strong analytical and operational skills.
  • Versatility and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the television and film production industry is an asset.
