Position Overview

The Food Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the culinary department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises a team of 3-4 individuals.

Work Environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Involves bending, crouching, and kneeling.
