Job Summary

We are seeking an Operating Unit Manager who will implement the Hub and Business Unit strategy and ensure business development in the operating unit, with responsibility for profit and loss (P&L).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals, project managers, and project engineers to achieve business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in Canada to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify market opportunities.

  • Ensure the execution of projects yearly according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, and financial results.

  • Live HITACHI ENERGY CANADA INC.'s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective manner.

  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives to drive business growth.

  • Analyze financial data to improve profitability and create a vision for sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Work authorization that permits employment in Canada.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the energy sector or a similar field.

  • Management and sales or project execution experience.

  • Good intercultural skills.

  • Bilingual French and English.
