Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of complete meals and individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Prepare specialized meals as directed by dietitians or chefs.
- Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their development.
- Maintain accurate records of food and supply inventory.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Flexibility and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills.
A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is preferred. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week, primarily in English.
