Senior Staff Engineer, Analog Circuit Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to lead our Analog Circuit Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, verifying, and evaluating high-speed analog circuits utilizing advanced CMOS FinFet and BiCMOS technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design high-speed IC products from concept through design to manufacturing, utilizing industry-standard EDA and simulation tools.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to more junior design engineers, mentoring and guiding them to achieve their full potential.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, applications, and product/test engineering, to deliver high-quality IC products.
- System and Architectural Modelling: Develop and maintain system and architectural models to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Documentation and Communication: Prepare technical reviews and product documentation, and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lab Evaluation: Evaluate high-speed analog circuits in a laboratory setting, using advanced equipment and tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with significant IC design content (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of design experience in high-speed CMOS and/or BiCMOS, with a strong understanding of analog circuit theory, transmission lines, and device fundamentals.
- Skills: Proficiency in analog CAD tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent, and experience with high-speed lab equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-speed components, such as VCOs, PLLs, wide-band amplifiers, TIAs, laser drivers, and data converters, and experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
- Personal Qualities: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to excel in a team environment and provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
