Responsibilities
  • Greet and guide customers as they arrive on the lot, facilitating a smooth sales process
  • Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs, utilizing current inventory information
  • Demonstrate vehicles' features on the lot to enhance the sales process
  • Support customers in completing their sales applications
  • Collaborate with management to increase sales by inspecting the lot's vehicles daily and reporting any issues
  • Ensure the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales
  • Participate in cleaning and washing vehicles
Requirements
  • High energy and enthusiasm throughout the sales workday
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor, especially when handling objections
  • Strong customer service skills and sales track record
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
  • Proficient in basic business math, including percentages
  • Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
  • Persistent, competitive, and strong work ethic
  • Focused on meeting customers' needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
  • Automotive sales experience preferred
