Coulson Aviation maintains full-time operational bases in various countries, utilizing a global support team during peak seasons to ensure effective operations year-round.

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporation's growth objectives by overseeing all daily accounting functions across multiple Group entities and providing leadership to the finance and administration teams. As a key member of the Accounting Department, the CFO will collaborate with other senior leaders to define and implement the business's overall strategy. This role will focus on enhancing the organization's cost accounting capabilities, optimizing the Eclipse Accounting system, supporting global risk management initiatives, and further developing a robust, centralized finance and accounting team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in progressively senior roles within accounting and finance, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting. Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity, overseeing all aspects of a finance department. Experience in a family-owned business and familiarity with the aviation or international aerial firefighting sectors is preferred. Key qualifications include:

  1. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with management in developing systems, processes, and reporting that enhance decision-making and operational excellence.
  2. Experience as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  3. Proven capability as a change agent and influencer, adept at securing buy-in for change initiatives and achieving results.
