The Chartered Professional Accountants Of Manitoba is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer/Secretary-Treasurer to join their team. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for the planning and control of financial and business administration, working closely with the Board and Superintendent to achieve the division's goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement procedures in the areas of budgeting, finance, purchasing, and payroll, including the direct supervision of the financial and payroll team.
* Participate in Board proceedings, providing guidance and support for Board operations and governance, as well as the functions stipulated in the Public Schools Act, Education Administration Act, and other related legislation and Board policy.
* Collaborate with the financial and payroll team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an educational setting.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Board, Superintendent, and other stakeholders.
* Proficiency in financial software and systems, including budgeting and forecasting tools.
