Position Overview
CIMT College is in search of an Enrollment Consultant to join our team. Candidates with experience in the Ontario Career College or educational sector will be viewed favorably. Enrollment Consultants are tasked with attracting and enrolling students into diverse vocational programs and non-vocational courses by converting inquiries received by CIMT College. In this role, you will be expected to engage proactively and professionally with potential students, assisting them in achieving their educational and career aspirations. You will be instrumental in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, serving as their primary contact, providing information about our offerings, and ensuring a seamless transition into their selected programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement: Conduct discussions with prospective students to comprehend their educational objectives, career goals, and program interests.
- Information Dissemination: Offer comprehensive details regarding CIMT College's programs, including curriculum, admission prerequisites, tuition costs, financial aid options, and student support services.
- Application Support: Assist students in completing application forms, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of necessary documentation.
- Eligibility Assessment: Assess applicants' qualifications and eligibility for admission based on established criteria and guidelines.
- Application Management: Efficiently and accurately process student applications, including data entry and documentation oversight.
- Ongoing Communication: Maintain consistent communication with applicants to provide updates on their application status, address inquiries, and offer necessary support.
- Conversion Strategy: Utilize effective sales techniques to transform inquiries into enrolled students, achieving or surpassing enrollment targets.
- Relationship Development: Build positive relationships with prospective students, alumni, and external partners to promote CIMT College and enhance the enrollment experience.
- Event Representation: Represent CIMT College at recruitment events, career fairs, and other outreach initiatives to attract prospective students and raise awareness of our programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and college policies in all enrollment activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related field. Experience in an Ontario college environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Familiarity with educational programs, admissions processes, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
Enrollment Consultants should possess:
- Flexibility and availability to work on-site according to the campus schedule.
- Commitment to adhering to all CIMT College Policies and Procedures and compliance with all regulatory standards as outlined by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and the OCC Act 2005.
