Job Title: Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist

At Shared Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supervising and providing technical assistance to a section within the lab.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide technical assistance to a section within the lab
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to improve workflow and efficiency
  • Participate in research and development projects to improve laboratory testing and procedures
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior laboratory staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years' recent related work experience
  • Supervisory experience an asset
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions:
  • Working shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required
  • Participating in standby and callback duty may be required
  • Rotate through various workstations as required
