At Shared Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Duty Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of patient test results.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols.
- Assist in general lab projects, such as SOP development, chemical inventory management, and quality assurance programs.
- Maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment, adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to work in a Windows computer environment.
- Working shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Participation in standby and callback duty may be necessary.
- Exposure to all hazards and dangers inherent in working in a laboratory.
