Vancouver Coastal Health is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to become a vital member of our healthcare team. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing services to designated patients while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor patient care strategies.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, providing education to them and their families regarding health and wellness.
- Play a significant role in enhancing the overall quality of life for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and manage incidents in accordance with established protocols.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to enhance clinical competencies.
- Engage in hospital committees and participate in research initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Active registration as a Registered Nurse in British Columbia.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven nursing skills in relation to surgical care.
- Understanding of pathophysiology associated with prevalent diagnoses and surgical procedures.
- Capability to conduct assessments and provide interventions across various clinical scenarios.
- Proficiency in utilizing medical devices and accurately documenting patient care.
- Expertise in managing patients with a wide range of healthcare requirements.
