Job Title: Floor Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Floor Installation Specialist to join our team at MOOSE FLOORING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and underlay. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting on floors, including direct glue-down installations
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in flooring installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
