About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Digital Acceleration team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing large-scale Software-As-A-Service (SAAS) solutions for subscription and membership businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects involving multiple teams in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using an agile process.
  • Design, develop, and test tier-1 digital acceleration services that meet the highest standards of operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and develop scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code using Java and NoSQL technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Strong background in algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
