About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Sanremo Italian Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure that we deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
