Role Summary:

The Branch Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing daily customer interactions, overseeing lubricant and wet stock inventory, facilitating inside sales, and handling branch administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the office team with customer service tasks, including inbound and outbound call management, front counter assistance, order processing, and payment collection.
  • Conduct follow-ups on inside sales, maintain customer accounts, and provide project support.
  • Manage lubricant warehouse inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and sales processes.
  • Prepare and report on month-end and year-end inventory.
  • Conduct health, safety, and environmental compliance inspections and maintain necessary records.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience in the petroleum and propane sectors is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with customer-facing capabilities.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to the diverse needs of the business.
  • Availability for occasional weekend shifts may be necessary.
  • Possess a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and TDG is advantageous.
