Chief Advisor Technology and Cyber Risk Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Advisor Technology and Cyber Risk Management Expert to join our Technology, Cyber and Data Risk Management team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping us navigate the complexities of technology and cybersecurity risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Build Trust and Expertise: Establish strong relationships with business lines and position yourself as a trusted advisor on technology and cyber risk management.
- Due Diligence and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough reviews of technology and cyber risk assessments for projects, products, and sectors to ensure alignment with our risk management framework.
- Second Line of Defence: Provide expert guidance on technology and cyber risk management for suppliers involved in developing new projects or products.
- Action Plan Development and Oversight: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement action plans to address technology and cyber risk exceptions.
- Practice Development and Maintenance: Lead the development and maintenance of technology and cyber risk management practices to ensure they remain effective and up-to-date.
- Tool Development and Consolidation: Help build tools to assess technology and cyber risks for projects and products, and consolidate information for business line quarterly reports.
- Problem Prevention and Resolution: Anticipate and address potential problems and difficult situations to ensure smooth operations.
You will be part of a dynamic 5-person team in the Technology, Cyber and Data Risk Management sector, reporting to a Senior Manager of technology, data and cyber risk management. Our team is known for its expertise and commitment to providing top-notch support for IT and cyber teams.
Requirements- Education and Experience: University degree and at least 10 years of experience in technology and/or cybersecurity risk management.
- Knowledge and Expertise: Strong knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity governance in large-scale organizations, with considerable expertise in technology and cyber risk, solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud, DevSecOps, management of obsolescence/technical debt, RPA (robotic process automation), DR, resilience, networks, and AI (artificial intelligence).
- Certifications: Cybersecurity and IT certifications.
- Personal Qualities: High level of personal integrity, ability to handle confidential matters, and demonstrate appropriate judgment and maturity.
