About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Big Brothers Food. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Operational Logistics
    • Coordinate and assign work tasks to ensure timely completion and meet customer demands.
    • Plan and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including inventory management and shipping/receiving.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and report any quality or safety issues to management.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
