Warehouse Operations Manager

The Warehouse Supervisor, under the supervision of the Director, plans, directs and coordinates the operations of The Chefs' Warehouse. The Manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Oversight: Oversees the daily workflow of Operations, ensuring seamless and positive experiences for employees and customers.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensures the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained.
- Financial Management: Works with accounting and management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll and other expenses.
- Communication: Prepares communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence.
- Event Planning: Plans, schedules, and promotes office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Document Management: Writes and edits documents from letters to reports and instructional documents.
- Filing and Records Management: Creates and maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Account Management: Manages accounts and performs light bookkeeping.
- Travel Arrangements: Makes travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
- Reporting and Research: Generates reports, transcribes minutes from meetings, creates presentations, and conducts research.
- Facilities Management: Oversees facilities services and maintenance activities.
- Office Activities: Organizes and supervises other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning, Blood drive etc.).
- Policies and Regulations: Ensures operations adhere to policies and regulations.
- Uniform Management: Tracks and issues uniforms for all employees within Operations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of JDE, BFC, AS400, Concur, OnBase, Dayforce.
- Language: Multilingual may be preferred or required.
- Education: Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum five years related experience in a high-level management position with P&L responsibility.
