Job Title: Research Analyst

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of a prospective cohort study in the emergency department (ED) at CAMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination and implementation of the study, including working with nursing champions in the ED to screen and recruit research participants
  • Schedule participant appointments, lead the informed consent process, and administer study assessments and structured diagnostic interviews
  • Transport samples, perform data entry, and maintain databases (e.g., REDCap)
  • Support other research team members, schedule follow-up appointments with participants, and manage research documentation
  • Provide participant honoraria and assist in developing and facilitating a study advisory committee
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social sciences, or related disciplines, combined with one year of post-graduate experience in a relevant research setting
  • Prior experience with participant recruitment and maintaining research databases
  • Previous experience and training in administration of clinical questionnaires/assessments (e.g., SCID-5-RV) is an asset
  • Research or service experience with individuals and/or families with mental health and addiction issues, particularly those with suicidal thoughts and behaviors
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong PC software skills, and ability to learn new programs as necessary
