Company Overview:

BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. is in search of a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Solutions & Architecture team. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative Information Technology (IT) solutions that address complex business challenges.

Role Summary:

The Solutions Architect will leverage a comprehensive technical background to design and implement effective solutions encompassing systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes. This position requires a deep understanding of various products, services, and technologies to ensure that the solutions align with the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation of solutions and take on a technical leadership role within project teams.
  • Ensure that all solutions are consistent with enterprise strategies and focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Develop detailed non-functional and technical specifications for Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
  • Oversee the successful and sustainable delivery of solutions into operational environments.
  • Contribute actively to architecture boards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Guide project teams in developing conceptual architecture designs, ensuring comprehensive coverage across business, information, application, and technical perspectives.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Essential Experience:

  • Proven track record of leading at least three large-scale IT projects in a Solutions Architect capacity from inception to completion.
  • Experience in vendor management and procurement processes, with the ability to assess product functionalities and their integration into existing systems.
  • Expertise in maintaining project documentation related to requirements gathering, business modeling, and scenario mapping.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and create tailored content.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with business units to resolve technical and process-related issues.
  • Experience within governmental organizations is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF 8 or higher is preferred.
