Position Overview

In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing environmental characterization, rehabilitation, and monitoring projects for the Earth & Environment Department at CIMA+. You will engage directly with a diverse range of clients across various regions, whether working on internal multidisciplinary initiatives or collaborating with external partners. You will receive support from professionals at all levels, taking on a technical role throughout the project lifecycle while contributing to the development of the Environment sector team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage environmental assessment studies and rehabilitation projects for phases I and II.
  2. Supervise projects involving both internal and external resources, ensuring effective collaboration among clients, government agencies, team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and laboratories.
  3. Gather and analyze data, interpret findings, and provide recommendations related to project mandates.
  4. Oversee project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  5. Draft or review technical documentation and reports.
  6. Engage in business development activities by preparing service proposals and coordinating the efforts of technicians and professionals involved in projects.
Qualifications
  1. University degree in Geological, Civil, or Geology Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in environmental characterization and rehabilitation.
  3. Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  4. Proven ability to write comprehensive reports and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  5. Fluency in French, with excellent writing skills.
  6. Completion of health and safety training for construction sites (ASP Construction Card).
  7. Ability to thrive in multidisciplinary project environments.
