Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Applications Engineer to join our team at Renesas Electronics Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for measuring the performance of our flagship timing devices and automating this process using Python scripting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement lab experiments to measure the performance of our timing devices
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate measurement processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of devices and software
  • Conduct thorough analysis of measurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Coursework in circuit analysis and control system theory
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators
  • Familiarity with Python programming language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
