Role Overview

In the capacity of Azure Administrator, you will oversee the management and operation of a scalable and high-performance Azure and O365 cloud infrastructure. This role is crucial for supporting the applications and infrastructure that align with our organizational mandate, utilizing advanced cloud technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and maintaining services within the Azure tenant and Office 365.
  • Implementing and overseeing cloud security measures.
  • Integrating new applications into the cloud ecosystem.
  • Providing training and support to users interacting with the cloud infrastructure.
  • Conducting necessary migrations to enhance cloud capabilities.
  • Managing virtualization technologies for effective server operations.
  • Proposing best practices to optimize cloud performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluating technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Performing troubleshooting and testing of solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Creating documentation and technical procedures for user support.
  • Regularly assessing cloud applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with IT security to ensure cloud privacy and compliance.
  • Responding promptly to technical issues with professionalism.
  • Maintaining the virtual server environment, including disaster recovery systems.
  • Monitoring user requests and applying appropriate solutions.
  • Conducting monthly system updates and maintaining control records.
  • Supporting the implementation of disaster recovery plans through infrastructure design and procedure development.
  • Administering Local Area Network (LAN) functions, including security and performance monitoring.
  • Deploying and maintaining corporate applications using various deployment techniques.
  • Providing expertise in storage infrastructure technologies.
  • Assisting with IT projects by evaluating options and making recommendations.
  • Being available for after-hours support and travel as needed.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with networking and cloud system engineering principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization and disaster recovery practices.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Language Requirements: English Essential

Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
