Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide vital support for the Controlling functions within our operations. This role involves:

  • Delivering business support and guidance to sales and management teams.
  • Assisting with Month-End and Year-End Closing processes.
  • Conducting monthly KPI reporting in alignment with Bosch standards for local and group consolidation.
  • Collaborating with the Controller on Forecasting and Budgeting initiatives.
  • Managing consolidated P&L reporting and analysis, including revenue, margin, and SG&A, while preparing comprehensive monthly reporting packages.
  • Identifying and implementing improvement measures proactively.
  • Performing Month GL reconciliation and analysis.
  • Monitoring and controlling Key Performance Indicators such as A/R, Inventories, and Headcount.
  • Developing new reports to support business activities and new KPIs.
  • Providing insights on customer sales allowances, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Conducting gross margin analysis and delivering detailed reports to the business.
  • Supporting journal entries for accrued liabilities and provisions.
  • Engaging in ad hoc analysis and reporting related to new business opportunities and sales promotions.
  • Completing projects and tasks as assigned.

In this role, you will work closely with Bosch guidelines to ensure compliance with accounting and financial practices while providing financial support to various stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a senior financial role within the consumer goods sector, including distribution.
  • Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to conduct gross margin analyses and manage corporate and employer tax matters.
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing.
  • A completed Post-Secondary Degree in Business or Accounting & Finance.
  • CPA or CMA designation is an asset.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience with AS400, SAP, or other ERP systems.
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving, producing high-quality work with demonstrated follow-through.
  • Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Self-awareness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A collaborative team player who can constructively challenge group thinking.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand issues from multiple perspectives.
