• Business Unit: GWMS – Digital Client Services – Group 1
• Project Focus: The GWMS CRM team operates as the Salesforce Centre of Excellence, managing multiple Salesforce Orgs across various business lines and expanding into new sectors and regions.
• Purpose of Recruitment: To support this expansion, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to drive current projects and create Business-Technology roadmaps for future initiatives.
• The selected candidate will engage in significant projects within the Canadian wealth management sector at one of Canada’s leading financial institutions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business areas to ensure technology solutions align with strategic objectives.
• Collect requirements from various business units and effectively communicate these to developers and programmers.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and return-on-investment assessments to inform system implementation decisions.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of business operations to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Support complex business processes and participate in multiple projects as a team member.
• Act as a bridge between the business community and IT to deliver technical solutions that meet user requirements.
• Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years focused on delivering Salesforce CRM solutions with practical experience in configuring Salesforce across various components: users, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, validation rules, sharing rules, reports, and dashboards.
• Proficient in authoring user stories in JIRA, documenting relevant artifacts on Confluence, and creating process flow diagrams using tools like Visio and Gliffy.
• Experience leading discovery sessions with diverse Business and Technology stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and processes, including defining user personas, epics, and user stories.
• Ability to craft sophisticated solutions for intricate challenges that may involve both technological adjustments and modifications to existing business processes.
• Familiarity with Data Loader and SF Inspector.
• Competence in writing SOQL queries.
• A user experience-focused approach to Salesforce, along with knowledge of UI design principles such as mockups and wireframes.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Salesforce implementations throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate with senior leaders from both Business and Technology to develop long-term Business-Technology roadmaps for individual Salesforce orgs.
• Skilled in employing agile methodologies and rapid prototyping to deliver incremental value swiftly.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams utilizing agile practices such as SCRUM and Kanban.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
• Salesforce certification in Administration Essentials for New Admins (ADM201) is advantageous.
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
