Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Broadway Construction is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of our organization. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating logistics activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Plan and organize logistics activities, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Report stock irregularities to supervisors and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
