Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Burlington Charcoal Pit. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Restock condiments and supplies as needed.
    • Package take-out food and prepare food for special requests.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dining area, kitchen, and surrounding areas.
    • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible manner.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
    • Take orders and handle customer payments.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Overtime required.
    • Physically demanding.
