Unit Operations Manager

Position Title: Unit Operations Manager at Alberta Health Services
Position Overview:
- Oversee the provision of high-quality, accessible, and sustainable care that is centered around patients and their families within the designated unit.
- Establish and implement both strategic and operational goals for the unit that align with the overarching vision and mission of the organization.
- Design and uphold a robust framework for the management of patient care services, ensuring the delivery of efficient, effective, and safe care.
- Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of team members.
- Provide mentorship to staff and address disciplinary matters as required.
- Ensure optimal allocation of resources, support initiatives for change management, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality.

- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Advanced degree
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Meditech)
