Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Operations Supervisor to oversee and enhance our operational processes at Sagittarius Cargo Services. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient logistics management and team coordination.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years in a supervisory role within logistics or distribution.
Work Environment

The position is based in a retail/wholesale establishment or distribution center, where you will manage daily operations and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement specific plans to prioritize logistics tasks.
  • Organize and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth processes.
  • Coordinate activities with various departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on operational performance.
  • Ensure the functionality of computer systems and machinery.
  • Arrange maintenance and repairs as necessary.
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and recommendations to boost productivity and quality.
  • Train team members on their roles and company policies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for staff.
  • Assign, review, and coordinate work among team members.
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning or ordering materials and supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
