Job Title: Quesnel Plywood Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quesnel Plywood Labourer to join our team in Quesnel, British Columbia. As a Quesnel Plywood Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by removing wood waste and debris from equipment and disposing of it properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove wood waste and debris from equipment and dispose of it in the hog.
  • Enter equipment and remove debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes.
  • Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment where entering the equipment is not possible.
  • Clean hydraulic tanks.
  • Perform fire watch activities to ensure a fire does not occur and to address any incipient fires that start as a result of hot work.
Requirements:
  • Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and crew building skills.
  • The flexibility to work all shifts or weekend clean-up.
  • Valid driver's license.
