West Fraser is seeking a Weekend Clean-Up General Labourer to join their Quesnel Plywood division in Quesnel, British Columbia. This role involves cleaning equipment, removing debris, and performing fire watch activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove wood waste and other debris from equipment and dispose of it in the hog.
  • Enter equipment to remove debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes.
  • Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment.
  • Clean hydraulic tanks.
  • Perform fire watch activities to monitor welding and other hot work.

Requirements:

  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and crew building skills.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts or weekend clean-up.
  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation Package:

  • Hourly pay rate: $32.06.
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
