Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other drywall installers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including removing old adhesives and debris.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a smooth finish.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to create a seamless and even surface.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a sturdy and level installation.
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to create a smooth and even finish.
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
