Drywall Finisher Job Description

Crown Eaglepro Constructions and Renovations Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces for painting and decoration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Apply joint compound to seams and corners, and smooth out excess compound
  • Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
