Job Title: Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at SP Constructions. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Finisher, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be exposed to dust and other environmental hazards.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
