Tax Director

The Director, Tax is a key member of the CAE team, responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and strategy align with its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize CAE's tax liability and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage the tax compliance process, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- Provide tax advice and guidance to CAE's management and employees, and ensure that tax implications are considered in business decisions.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants to ensure CAE's tax position is optimized.
- Monitor tax changes and updates, and advise management on their impact on CAE's business.
- Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in tax law, including relevant experience in tax compliance and financial accounting.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA).
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues in an accessible way.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
