Tax Director

The Tax Director will play a critical role in ensuring CAE's tax compliance and strategy align with the company's overall business objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize CAE's tax liability and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Lead a team of tax professionals to provide tax advice and support to CAE's business units.
- Collaborate with CAE's finance team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise CAE's management on the impact of these changes on the company's tax strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders to ensure CAE's tax compliance and strategy are aligned with industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in tax law, including relevant experience in tax compliance and financial accounting.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA).
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues in an accessible way.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
