Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At ALBERTA LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our culinary team.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
  • Food Order Summaries: Prepare detailed summaries of food orders for our chef, ensuring that our menu offerings meet customer demand.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are presented to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for our culinary team, ensuring that we meet our operational needs.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality standards. You will be required to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout your shift, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
