Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and youth with therapy needs.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support our school-based rehabilitation program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and youth with various therapy needs, including fine motor difficulties and sensory processing goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop client-centered therapy care plans based on the students' developmental needs.
  • Provide care to complex pediatric clients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions within the GTA community.
  • Facilitate partnerships between families, schools, and local healthcare systems to ensure clients can attend school, participate in activities, and engage successfully with the curriculum.

Requirements:
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in pediatric care is preferred.
  • ADP Authorizer or willingness to be trained is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
