Centre Director Assistant Job Description

BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Director Assistant to join our team at our Airdrie, AB centre. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre Director in managing the overall operation of the centre, including staff recruitment and development, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Centre Director in managing the centre's day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, child safety, and environmental health and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Provide effective communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or degree.
  • Level 3 certificate in Child Development or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations.
  • Up-to-date immunization and health assessment as per local Ministry of Health requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
