Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KFC Park City. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food meets the highest quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that they are properly labeled and stored.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and be flexible in their approach to work.
